The Invisible Parent
My husband has a superpower. He can become invisible to children. If they need something, they can be standing right next to him, but for some reason have to come and find me to solve all of their problems. It's like they don't see him. I sure would love to borrow this power for a while.

I think all dad's learn this trick. Someday, when I am a dad, I will abuse this superpower like none other.
I think I'll have to start a line of t-shirts to combat this. I will sell them to moms all over the world to thwart your evil plan. But seriously, it drives me crazy. Hardly a day goes by I don't say "ask your father" or "go tell your father" or "did you not SEE your father sitting there"? Somtimes I don't want to be the all-knowing mom. Just for a few hours every day. :)
